Terms & Conditions
Payments
- Fees are £28 per month for ages 4-7, £30 per month for ages under 21 and £35 per month for ages 21+.
- The subscription fee will be charged to your Payment Method on the 1st of every month.
- If a payment is not successfully collected on the 1st, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, then collection will be tried 3 days later and if still unsuccessful will be tried again after 3 days.
- Your subscription with Laine Acting Workshop will continue until terminated. Unless you cancel or pause your subscription before your billing date, you authorise us to charge the fee for the next billing cycle to your Payment Method.
- Should you wish to cancel or pause your subscription, then please contact Donna or Sam at Laine Acting Workshop.
Re-arranged Classes
- On occasion we may need to re-arrange a class due to unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible if we need to do this.
Arrival and Departure of Students
- Please arrive on time and also make arrangements to pick up students punctually.
- Parents/Guardians are asked to wait outside the studio during lessons and please do not interrupt lessons if possible.
General Terms
- Please keep us informed of any changes in contact details, any changes in mobile number or address are essential especially for emergencies, it is important for you to have an answerphone on your telephone number to avoid disappointment as there may be occasional last-minute changes to sessions due to unforeseen circumstances.
- Students may not cause harm or damage to equipment on the premises or walk around the building into any other areas without permission from the tutor.
- Laine Acting Workshop reserves the right to terminate sessions indefinitely due to consistent absenteeism, bad behaviour and any reason relating to the progress of other students or any other reasonable cause. Verbal abuse from parents/students will always result in instant termination of sessions without refund.
- No fizzy drinks, food, chewing gum are permitted in the studio.
- Please notify Sam/Donna at Laine of all absences.
- No refund will be given for absences.
Informed Consent and Acknowledgement
- I hereby give my approval for my child’s/own participation in any and all activities prepared by Laine Acting Workshop. I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Laine Acting Workshop and all its respective teachers, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said student arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from drama sessions.
- In case of injury to said student, I hereby waive all claims against Laine Acting Workshop including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.
- I hereby give Laine Acting Workshop and Laine Management Ltd permission to use any still and/or moving image being video footage, photographs and/or frames and/or audio footage depicting my child/myself named on registration form for any of the following uses:
- Advertisements, marketing, leaflets, or any other use such as for training, educational or publicity purposes including use on Laine Acting Workshop/Laine Management Ltd social media pages and website.
